Guyu Cao, born in 2005, has been growing artistically since 2017, first at the Middle School Affiliated to the China Conservatory of Music and then progressing to her current undergraduate studies in Piano Performance at the China Conservatory of Music. She not only won the First Prize in the Professional B Category at the 2022 Melbourne International Music Competition and the Honorary First Prize at the 2025 8th KAWAI Asia Piano Competition, but she was also selected for the 2024-2025 China Conservatory of Music Undergraduate "Top Talent" Program based on her solid professional abilities, earning high praise from professors such as Shu Yang, Xin Wang, and Yun Guo.

Cao Guyu has become active in many important piano competitions and artistic events. Her accolades include the Fourth Prize in the 2024 China Conservatory of Music Piano Department Concerto Competition, the Special Silver Award at the 2024 German Seiler Piano Competition, the Fourth Prize at the 2025 Blüthner International Piano Competition, the Fourth Prize at the 2025 Xiamen Music Season Piano Competition, and qualification for the semi-finals of the inaugural 2025 Global International Piano Competition. In 2026, she successfully advanced to the semi-finals of the Gnessin International Piano Competition, competing against 155 other pianists. She has received guidance from masters including Michel Beroff, Jonathan Korth, Balzaretti Carlo, Alberto Baldrighi, Tatiana Pavlovna Levitina, and Yuan Jie.

Cao Guyu maintains a spirit of respect and exploration for music. She has successfully held numerous concerts and recitals at venues including the China Conservatory of Music, the Seogwipo Arts Center in Jeju Island, the Great Hall of the Gnessin Academy, the Musikforum in Geilenkirchen, the Beijing Forbidden City Concert Hall, the Qingdao Huanghai Concert Hall, the Chime Bell Hall of Wuhan Conservatory of Music, and other cities across China.

Her unique personal musical style and exquisite musical interpretations have attracted the attention of many classical music enthusiasts. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance at the China Conservatory of Music, studying with Professor Yang Shu, Doctoral Supervisor in the Piano Department, and Ms. Wang Xin, Artistic Director of the Geilenkirchen International Music Competition.
