Defined as an extraordinary musician with a sincere and engaging
personality, Davide Ranaldi began his piano studies at the age of four.
Among the highlights of the past season are his performance of
Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor, K. 466 at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice under the baton of Maestro Frédéric Chaslin, and Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major, Op. 15 at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa conducted by Maestro Donato Renzetti.
Again under the direction of Maestro Renzetti, Davide was invited to perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2 to inaugurate the cultural project Nell'Olimpo di Beethoven, accompanying Cortina d'Ampezzo on its path toward the 2026 Winter Olympics.
In 2025, Davide won First Prize at the Piano Euregio Award in
Germany, at the Rovere d'Oro International Piano Competition, and at the Tadini International Piano Competition. He also received Second Prize at the International Maestro Piano Competition in Taiwan and was a semifinalist at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Piano
Competition in Belgium. In 2021, he was awarded First Prize at the
distinguished Premio Venezia XXXVII, reserved for the top graduates
of Italian conservatories.
He obtained his Bachelor Degree at the Milan Conservatory with
highest honors, distinction, and special mention for his "exceptional
technical and musical qualities," and his Master Degree at the Pavia
Conservatory with highest honors, distinction, and honorable mention.
Davide currently studies with Maestro Alexander Romanovsky and
Maestro Leonid Margarius at the International Piano Academy
